I recentley graduated from UCSB with a bachelor's degree in English. I'm still trying to figure out who I am and what it is that I want to do with my life, but I do know that I want to be in the writing field.

I love to read, and I usually always have a book with me. My current goal is to read all of the books in my mini-library, which consists of about 250 books. Currently I'm reading Edith Wharton's House of Mirth.

Originally, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but Organic Chemistry kicked my butt and I had to reevaluate my goals in life. I still love animals, and I regularly volunteer at local animal shelters. I currently have two labs, one chocolate and one yellow; they are the most entertaining things that I have in my life. I know I can always count on them to make me smile :) I have also had hundreds of fish in my life; I once had a sunrise platy, who surprised me with 144 baby fish. I would love to have a cat, but unfortunately I'm allergic to them, so I have to limit my exposure to them.
